Ive had a look into this option for ages, i can connect to my pc via bluetooth easy but how if possiable how can i connect my p990 to my wireless router and then foward the internet to a bluetooth phone without wireless? theres so many options. i have read some things saying you can send data from one device to anouther via a p990 but the choice of bt options is confusing

BT local Pan
BT internet pan
BT adhoc pan

im guessing adhoc between host and my phone then WLan for internet?
do both devices have to be smartphones or pc's or can i do this with any bluetooth phone?

sorry if this has been already posted i couldn't see an article about it. please any help would be much appreciated

I'm not sure what you meant. Do you want to access the web on your P990 using your broadband connection? If that's what you want, you can create an ad-hoc network on your PC/laptop and allow your phone to connect to it and thus surf the web at much higher speeds.

not quite, i want to know if i can connect my phone to the wireless router, to gain my internet on my phone, then forward this internet to a bluetooth device, that can't access the wireless router. I read on places before that the p990 can be used as a data link between 2 devices and has good adhoc and ip proxy and other configs you can setup. so i was thinking maybe i could set up a bluetooth internet data account on the phone then adding a device without wireless to use the data connection to gain internet. so far i have been lost with the complex connection options this phone has. its not really important as such, but when you have these toys you kinda want to do a lot of complicated things with them. im not sure of the limits this phone will do but i know it has far more complex options compared to nokia n95 which cant even connect to wpa psk tkip passcodes on routers etc. so basically does anyone know the max you can do with this device...
