The way you state it looks like you're selling a 250 del. and yet you want offers from 250 upwards?

It is a bit confusing tbh. Why not ask people to make offer from 250 and put a BIN up for those that cant wait

just to clear this up... i said i'd take offers over £250. then i got frankly stupid offers at £200. so i then said i cant be bothered with offers so £250 takes it.

how is that confusing?

Esato has gone down the pan IMO. what has happened. i havent been on for a while now when i come on to sell a phone. cheap. its still not good enough... if some one says offers from £250 why put 1 at £200. on a phone that is already at £100 off RRP!?

this has happened with the last few phones i've sold in future don't waste my time.

rant over.. Dale

Although £200 is a very low offer to what you are asking, there are many sellers on here who will negotiate even after putting a BIN price on the site i.e. want £250 - offered £200 - what about £230 etc etc. Occasionally, there are some who don't know the true value of prices if not told and others who want back what they paid for it twelve months ago.
Although I understand your position, all you will do is to alienate some buyers with the attitude you have. Patience is a wonderful thing! All it takes is a no!!

well said dougproctor!!
man with a big level head on his shoulders!!

by the way to avoid any confusion I offered the asking price straight up

yea i no all it takes it a no but if i say offers from £250 why would i consider £200? just makes me laugh. its a waste of time for both people.

yes Yasman. you are a diamond! appreciated it was a good deal and snapped it up.

thanks

from now on i will state no time wasters. sorry for going off on one...

Posted by tsj
ever heard of price negotiation?

thanks doug.

Posted by Dale_jeffs
yea but theres just being plain greedy, you could have offered me £300 after that and i would have said no.

i'd rather deal with people who live in the real world.

Dale.

Posted by tsj
I wasn't being greedy. i was making you an offer which was the most i could afford. im sorry but no where in the rules does it say that we cant make offers. i made it and you refused. DONE BYE!

Posted by Dale_jeffs
so if that was all you could afford why was i bombarded with PM's saying i'll give you £250 if you meet me i'll give you £230 del. if its a fixed price dont doubt it. you lost out, not me lol

Dale.

PLEASE LOCK

At the end of the day it was a bit cheeky to offer £200del for a practically brand new 3g iphone...no-one is stupid enough to let one go in that condition for that much, but at the same time a simple refusal and move on is all is required in those situations.

I personally cant believe it took two whole days for this to go! At this price i would've expected someone to snap it up with minutes! You got a good deal Yasman

Posted by Dale_jeffs
thank you

yeah i said no £250 is the price but he still tried a number of times to knock me down. why bother? lol

Posted by tsj
what bullshit. get the hell out of my thread.

Posted by RyaN
lol you joker

Posted by tsj
you offered me £20 for a £299.99 rrp phone.

i offered you £200 for a £349.99 rrp phone.

it all makes sense to me. how old were you again?

Posted by RyaN
wtf is your problem dude? Get over yourself.... and go and make yourself happy and go out and buy and iPhone
