Actually, this is almost the same with the settings used in Globe but I created a different post for Smart so that Smart users will not ask anymore how can they access the Internet for free as well. Anyway, the settings are below:
Java Settings and Internet Profile: Smart Internet or Smart GPRS
Proxy: 10.102.61.46
Port: 8080
1. Open Opera Mini mod v2.06 then go to Menu>Tools>Settings>Network
2. Put a check on the box that is labeled "Shadow connect"
3. Enter "http://wap.smart.com.ph" on the textbox labeled "The address to connect"
4. Put a check on the box labeled "Check time-out for connections"
5. Enter "120" on the textbox labeled "Time[s]"
6. Leave the checkbox labeled "Additional" unchecked
7. Leave the textboxes labeled "Server", "Port", "Username" and "Password" blank
8. Enter "wap.smart.com.ph@server.operamini.com:80" on the Opera Mini server textbox
9. Uncheck the box labeled "Reset of a server at an error"

@siopao13: yes, pwede din magdownload. There is a trick as well when downloading. You just need to put wap.smart.com.ph@ dun sa download link and that's it. Same thing with Globe.

I'm using the 8.65 actually, using smart 3G (very fast connection) same settings din sa 2.06
in Symbian phones, opera 8.65 is like opera mini 4.1 desktop style yung rendering. bakit sa J2ME version parang opera 2 lang yung function

yang link na yan ang ilalagay mo sa shadow connect option sa network settings. then replace the opera mini server with any of the servers on denn's globe free browing server lists.
For a better step-by-step procedures just follow the steps in the Free globe internet using opera mini thread by kabayan denn

click mo yung link na binigay ko above. there were 4 opera mod download links there for you - my suggestion is for you to use the Mobile 8.65mod: opera 3.1mod is okay but requires that you connect first to internet(note your phones isn't browing free as you haven't configured the network settings yet kaya mababawasan muna load mo

Oo nga, bad trip ung opera mini mod v3.10 kasi mababawasan ka muna ng load bago gumana ng ayos. Saka mo plang mcoconfigure ung network settings after nung tests. Kaya opera mini mod v2.06 nlng gmtn nyo, hehe.

yah don't worry i'll share it to you. i'm just making sure that it is working perfectly before sharing it publicly. hehehe pero mas maganda parin gamitin ung ommv2.06 kasi may integrated downloader unlike omv4.1.

Connect mo lang po ung phone mo then open the Sony Ericsson PC Suite. Select Mobile Networking Wizard tapos enter mo lang ung APN na internet. Pero you know hindi ko na ulet mapagana un eh. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Hindi na gumagana ung mga proxies na ginagamit ko. Update kita pag gumagana na ulet.

I cant seem to download images from OM Mod 2.06
I followed the instructions on the other pages that i should put wap.smart.com.ph@ on the download rin but nothing happened!
I use to download games mp3s but why i cant download images?
Another way i use is by highlighting the image then press the download key and add wap.smart.....ph@ pero ganun pa din ung ngyari...
