short cord looks perfect!

I wish it could work with my A829 and T650i simultaneously...

These headphones look brilliant!!!

Anyone had a play about with them? is the sound quality good?

And what sort of price will they retail at?

Posted by Yakkaimono
The price for Germany is 119€. You can expect a little bit less or the same price in the other Countries.

Posted by Lunion
Thats around .... 60-70£

Posted by Yakkaimono
@ Lunion
Euro not Dollar. So it will be more like 90£.

Posted by Lunion
sheesh, thats quite alot for some headphones!

EDIT: It's quite alot of money for ME

Yea it's a lot for me too. I really wanted those but after taking a look at the price I changed my mind.

These look interesting, but guess no controls on them? Found a better pic:

Posted by mange69
Where is the battery/contact? Is it all fitted in the mic?
Talk/Standby/Music times?

Posted by strizlow800
LOL!!! WTF!!! These look GREAAAT!!! The only think I'm confused is the connector where they get charged... So small device cannot have the connector in it... Or at least if they come with some sort of special hw (charger) that feets them...

Posted by emzee_ali
Does anybody know whether this headset has Neodymium Magnet units in it?

Posted by tai020381
Hmm... it sucks juice from the the phone?? I cannot see any charging points!

Posted by lazeeboy
maybe it's solar-powered?

Posted by gola
What about that "over the air" charging thing, where you just put a rechargeable device on some plate and it gets charged. Well something like that...

Posted by NightBlade
You guys would be surprised how small the charging port on these headsets is. Anyway, it may be positioned along the length of the body.

Posted by feco
i think it uses magnet charging like toothbrushes

I don't think I'd buy them, I bought my K850i for that much. XD Seriously.

70 pounds???? Thats too much IMO

Posted by yea g
maybe the charging port is on one of the earpieces cause they are quite big

I wouldn't count on that. Maybe have put new charging port to these headphones. If it is on the earpiece it will make the one earpiece harder than the other which will make the headset uncomfortable. Though this is only my opinion.

Posted by raveathon
I think Its the small circular area near the mic hole.. or its just a Call recv/end button

BTW headsetgazette says Talktime 4 hours of talk time or 11.25 days of standby.

http://www.headsetgazette.com[....]bh-is800-bluetooth-headphones/

Posted by strizlow800
The circle silver part is the button for answering calls imo. The charging port should be at other place.

Posted by tai020381
4 Hours is a bit too little for me... My current Sony bluetooth has talk time of 11 hours, which is very fine with me... And with 4hours.... you would not be happy if your song playing halfway and you hear the low battery sognal...

Posted by strizlow800
Well look at the size of it. The battery is very small inside... How can so small baterry last 11 hours??

Posted by tai020381
I know, but was already disappointed by the battery life... Sigh...I had a DS 970 and its talk time was 6hours and still it would not be enough for me, now imagine 4 hours... Thats why I chose my Sony Bluetooth BTR-20NX headset.

Posted by raveathon
hmm.. even I have HBH DS 970 that has juice upto 6 hrs ... Well if its 70 Pounds for 4 hrs... no way I am buying it.. :|

I'm thinking of buying this one. I like the size of it. No matter the time. In fact I don't listen to music that much, so it woulnd't be problem for me.

hello everybody......
wow thats is a great headset, how about the sound...???

Posted by ocean21
Do you mean the IS800 or DS970? In my opinion DS970's sound quality is quite ok, but the bass level is rather low.

Posted by strizlow800
Actually the bass you can adjust it with the equalizer after all. I don't think a lot of bass elements is good... I personally want the music with soft bass, not much impacts.

I think so too but it would be in a funny position - below and behind your ear. We will have to wait and see I guess.

Posted by Homme
Hi guys, what about these earphones sound quality? Perhaps it would be better than Creative EP-635 in sound quality regard?

Posted by strizlow800
Well it should be good in quality as previous music headsets from

Posted by piflechien
The charge plug is behind the SE logo on the right earbud, the logo is a piece of plastic protecting it.
It doesn't support any AVRCP command with the button on the left side unfortunately. only A2DP streaming.

What more would you want?

i think what piflechien meant was only audio streaming is available. no remote control features like play/pause/fwd/rev.

The phone, the MBW-150 music edition watch and these headphones will be a great combination..

These are beautiful, however at just 4 hours (read 3 hrs in reality with everyday use), this doesn't sound like a good deal imo... I also had the HBH-DS970 at one time, and found that the 6 hours provided by them wasn't enough for my needs. I listen to music almost all day for extended lengths of time, and 4 hours is downright anemic... Now, get them up to at least 8 hrs next go around SE, and then we'll talk. In the mean time, DAMN, if those are some sexily designed earphones!

From what Google Translate could tell me, the review was quite positive, actually.

Indeed google translate made for some very intresting reading. Batterytime with music same or even better than DS970.. Awesome!

What do you think, what is better in sound quality/ volume regard: Creative ep-630 or SE HBH-IS800?

Posted by emzee_ali
^^This hasn't been launched yet...so you can't compare the sound quality of this with the EP-630....

anybody know the differences between this and the Sony BT140pq's other than size and obvious battery life?

Posted by goldenface
Features
- Bluetooth™ Technology - 2.0
- Auto pairing™
- Echo cancellation
- Noise reduction
- Automatic volume adjustment
- Whisper mode?
- Second call handling
- Redial
- Voice Activated Dialing (VAD)

@moogoo

Unfortunately they don't go into other features like frequency range etc, so its hard to compare them.

Posted by djin
Whisper mode is like, when u activate it(most likely by pressing a button), it deactivates noise cancellation for the time till you hold it. After that it again starts.
I think its another name for monitor mode.

Posted by moogoo
@goldenface

yea, i found that details aren't readily available..

so when is this thing gonna be available for purchase? according to an internal website, i think it said 10/17? any confirmation on that?
