I'm just curious to know if SE uses EMP platforms in all their phones, as Ericsson and SE are very close... I know that they are not obliged to use EMP, but do they anyway?

From the EMP pdf file on the Ericsson site:
"Examples of customers are Sony Ericsson, Amoi, Bellwave, Flextronics, HTC, LG, Lite-On, NEC, Sharp, and TCL."
