I know that k850 is much better than w580 but i have a dilema:
1. My parents gave me a sony cybershot 8MP so i don't need a cameraphone
2. So i was looking for a musicphone but all walkmanphones are ugly (except for w580, i love it!)
3. But the problem is that w580 is made of plastic (OMG! What's that?!!), the key craking problem worries me, (there are more than one case so it's not a myth and i've seen photos about that)
4. Now this phone is becoming popular and that's no more exclusive (like the motorola v3, everybody has it!)
5. Finally, if i got k850 (cool phone, well designed) , i'd have 2 cameras lol
And i don't know if k850 is a good music player.
Or should I go for a iphone or look for another walkmanphone

Well K850i is not a good music player...It is the best music player Lol

I think you should take the K850, the music is almost the same as the w580, maybe even better + with Walkman 3.0 ! + you get a ''free'' good camera with it:P

* I'm sorry but this is the most RIDICULOUS statement I've ever heard. Can you name me a phone in your budget that is NOT made of plastic or have less than 60% plastic?! Hmm. Dude from buttons to shells to volume rockers/sliders, to your MicoSD card (silicon & plastic) SOOO many phones are 40%-80% plastic. There are MANY different compositions of plastic in this world, and different densities. Oh and the Metal on the W890i is NOT that thick, obviously, and if you tap the batt cover with your fingernail it sounds like die-cast metal (Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars are made of this). So don't worry of the plastic, and the key issue is LONG behind SE it was due to a corrosive paint that was no longer used since the 4wk production batch.

* This is something also hilarious to me. Sure you want to style a phone that is kicking pure style & says "your cool". But you're either "COOL" or not, no phone is going to do that for you. Now exclusitivity you have to PAY for it out of the nose! Either suits, cars or your phone.
Exclusivity:
* Go buy a Vertu Constellation; or any Vertu I'll bet you money that less than 3ppl in your circles or in your city that you'll ever meet within 6mths has one. Just like a Ferrari is exclusive you'll still see a few ppl drive one on summer days - but having a Maserati won't give you that fame but the performance is close (they use Ferrari engines) and they'll allow you to have more exclusitivity.

My suggestion; Save the cash if the W580i concerns you. Avoid the K850i for now; many ppl are having issues - you'd be PISSED if it happened to you. Finally save the cash for another month and buy the W760i very similar to the W580.

K850 is definately better even for music though i hate the design and buttons on it. Most phones are made of plastic but ones made of metal still have plenty of plastic on for example the keys oh and the area around the internal antenna cos it cant be metal around that bit.

W760 design is really cool, very similar to W580 but better, it shouldn't feel as plasticky and is designed to impress. Forget K850, it's nothing but trouble.
