Hello
Maybe it will be hard to understand what I am asking about, because my English isn't very good But I will try to ask best as I can.
I want to know what problems of SE phones can be solved with firmware flashing. For example there are a lot of cheap phones sold as said 'for spare or repairs only', but I think a lot of them can be fixed by flashing firmware.
For example I found this "k770: when you switch phone on, all you get is a small vibration, the screen lights up, then goes off again, and the phone refuses to turn on" or "w810: The phone doesn't switch on, but when plugged into the charger the red light near the power switch comes on". So is it possible to know from these symptoms if it's possible to fix these phones by simply flashing FW?

well, some of these phones could get fixed by flashing because of a firmware bug.

White Screen of Dead(WSoD): can be fixed, mayor part of the time, flashing the phone.

and so more things as well.

btw, not just flashing but upgrading the erom can fix problems.

So how I understood if phone shows white screen in most cases it can be fixed by myself with free tools for flashing FW or repairing EROM? And what about that phone with red light when charging?

well, sometimes, when the red light blinks in the IR port it means that the battery's ran out of charge or the erom is damaged.

also dont forget that some of the spares/repairs phones can be barred

the result and possibilities depends also on the box u use to flash the fone... setool, universal box are the most developed ones. those "home made" solutions like xs++ are ok for fun

flashing can fix prety much anything but hardware problems, erom problems or unresolved bugs.

GDFS problems can be fixed if you have a backup of a good GDFS from the same phone.
