which is better for t68i mca-20 or mca-25???

Posted by MarkOng
If its for a t68, it won't make much of a difference as you can't use the added features like picture framing in the mca-25 with the t68. It was designed with the t300 in mind. Go for the mca-20. Anyway, I suspect it is cheaper.

The cameras for t68i are not worth the cash. They only work well in good lighting conditions and max res is 640-480. Spend a bit more cash on a proper digital camera.

I don't think there is a lot of difference between the MCA-20 and the MCA-25. It would be great if the MCA-25 would support 800x600 or something like thank. Unfortunatly, it supports max. 640x480. I would choose the MCA-20.

If you upgrade the sw of the T68i to R6A012 it can use te Zoom feature of the mca-25.
I dont know about the other features.
The mca-20 does not have the zoom and it doesnt have an eye veiwer.

All the extra features of the mca-25, like zooming, effects and viewfinder, work with the t68i with the R6A012 software. So the mca-25 is the natural choice! Have someone who wants to buy a plain t300 buy the one with the mca25. It will only cost you about 70 Euros!

Mca 20=72dpi Mca 25=96dpi Thats the difference! Mca20 can store more pics than mca25 couse its only 72dpi.

Do the cameras make god pics????

Posted by zoolie
Yes,but only in sunlight. In dark the pics have noise/couse they havent got flash for nightshot/! Its not a digital camera quality but its fine! I like it. :-D

most places r now selling them both for the same price.

make sure u get the latest software if u get the mca-25
otherwise it won't be worth it as much.

i'm working on a revieuw on camera phones. and what i can say is that the best cam is the MCA-25. its better then MCA-20, the nokia cam, 7650,P800 and the panasonic GD87.
now its just wait and see how good the siemens cam is but i think we already have a winner! MCA-25 state of the art.

that's quality.

An important thing to consider would be how many pixels the images are made up of. AFAIK the Panasonic have like 120x100 pixels and that is fine for MMS to another phone but not really useful at all for email to watch on a computer screen?

Andy: Of course the cams are INFINATLEY (sp?) better than ANY digicam that needs to be attached to a computer because if you have no computer with you in you pocket they are... worthless... At least until you get home

MCA-25 can set picture taken size to VGA(640*480), QVGA(320*240), QQVGA(160*120) and MMS suitable size 80*60. Feeling that the body design of the cam intends to be like, MCA-20 fits phone style of T68 ,MCA-25 fits T300.

MC25

they are only good when uploaded on pc, outdoors. Otherwise, it's a lousy cam.

i wonder how much is mca-25

MCA 25 costs around £100. I got mine free in an offer with my PAUG t300.

Very good pic quality, if you take the pic outdoors is is perfect and looks good on your phone.

Indoor pics look ok on pc but crap on phone.

The MCA 25 is 300dpi not 96. It is a very high quality camera. Same quality and zoom as the P800 accept the P800 has a flash.

I just bought a MCA 25 on ebay.......costs Euro 59...... so it doesn't have to cost more...... if you search and look further i also seen them going for less than this amount......
