o2 e-mail settings for w890

Has anyone successfully set up o2 e-mail on a w890? I am using the same settings as I did on my W880 and I can receive but not send. Outgoing server is smtp.o2.co.uk, and I am connecting using o2 mobileweb. I have left outgiong username and password blank and it comes back with "send failed". I have tried using "o2web" as the username and "password" as the password but then it says "incorrect username or password". My ISP is Tiscali and I have also tried using smtp.tiscali.co.uk but that didn't work either.
Any help would be appreciated.

outgoing should be smtp.o2.co.uk

Sorry - a typo. It is smtp..o2.co.uk. I've just edited my first post.

Very strange - it's just started working! Must have been a network thing!??
