Mmmm... That's the problem I always had with the Earbud type (HPM-70).

from mobile-review w200 review:
What we were really pleasantly surprised with is the default headset the W200i comes boxed with. The headphones are standard earbuds, but as Sony Ericsson claims, the HPM-64 boast better performance at low frequencies thanks to «Bass Reflex». To tell the truth I had though that it’d been just another trick invented by the marketologists, but the facts proved me wrong – compared to HPM-70 stereo-headset, which comes in one box with Sony Ericsson W800i and the W300i, the HPM-64 deliver much more natural and penetrating sound right to your ears. After having them around for some time, I couldn’t just go for the HPM-70 again, even though they are subjectively superior convenience-wise.

HPM-64 are the best, and very comfortable, I don't like HPM-70 because they go too deep in ear, and that makes me feel uncomfortable.
I have HPM-60, Black HPM-70, and both Black & White HPM-64, I have to say that I haven't used HPM-60 nor HPM-70, since I got HPM-64.
My ear doesn't hurt when I'm using HPM-64 for one hour, and that was the case with HPM-60 and HPM-70.

Yes Sony Ericsson HPM 64 is really does good at sound quality but when you're playing your songs at noisy surroundings, HPM 70 does better.

That's because the HPM70 are noise cancelling headphones... Anyway the HPM64 is not bad, but my eyes still are looking at the HPM 70

The HPM-70 are not true noise cancelling earphones since there's no circuitry involved. But the inner rubber/silicone pieces do a decent job by minimizing outside noise. I prefer this compared to the HPM-64. But by no means the HPM-64 is a lousy model. I just prefer the smaller in-ear HPM-70.

At first i own a hpm-61 (gift from my friend which he never use it with his K750i), love the sound quality. Mod some acoustic and put it in my W660i@K610i and it rocks. Then my neighbour bought a W880i, i borrowed the hpm-70 and compare it. Guess what, i like the sound from hpm-61 more. It produce more deep low freq and soft high freq. Yes, hpm-70 are 'canceling' outside noise by the design but the low freq are rough and i heard the mid high a bit rough.
Last month i got my self a G502 which boxed with hpm-62. Comparing with hpm-61, i think they sound the same.
Imo, hpm-61/62 have more delicate sound. Better than hpm-70 for me.
Sorry 4 my English

The HPM 62 which came with my P1i have stopped working in one ear, so am thinking of getting HPM 65
Does anyone use them here, especially with the P1i?
Also thinking of getting creative ep 630 with them later.
Would any HPM series (eg HPM 75) be better than buying HPM 65 + EP630?
the features I want are external noise reduction, comfort, good bass and compatibility with P1i

hi
im also in search of a good hands free for my k810i
n i have ep480 which i use in combination with hpm 75 adapter
the intensity n loudness of the music increases
but with too much treble
if u have the equliser on the phone
then it can be adjusted
it sounds good
so on ep630 wich will surely give me more bass i think it will be much better
im also in search of ep630
but in our country [india]even in bombay its hard to find
n i dont want a fake one in my hands
hope it helps u bye
n yes
i think ep630 will give u more bass then hpm 75
any time[still have to confirm, but by using ep480 i m very much convinced]
but finally it also depends on ur hand set also
