I got the phone as a present on T-Mobile Flext 25 last month on the 8th-How ever much I love this phone it has a big DOWNSIDE!
Connecting the phone to a computer- simply does NOTHING! I didnt even think I had to install the software as it gives storage device as an option when I connect it. Only one time it worked to synchronize on SE Media Manager! Luckily then I got my pictures on- this was after loads of struggle! After this is NEVER worked again.
I've tried 2 computers and one laptop connecting the phone and the computer just doesnt seem to pick up much- I've installed software aswell- thinking that's the problem- ONLY ON OCCASION IT WOULD SAY YOUR NEW HARDWARE HASNT BEEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE SCREEN!
BUT NOTHING! IT'S BEEN DRIVING ME MAD- I'VE JUST BEEN SENDING PICS TO K750i via bluetooth and that's the ONLY WAY I can synchronize with a USB! AUUUUUUGH
Guys please help me out here.

Do you choose phone mode on the phone screen after you plug it in?
Anyway, you can always try master reset and if this is not working, reflashing with SEUS.
But, at the end of the road, phone is new and has a warranty. You can always visit SESC.

I've tried all the modes. Including Phone Mode for software use.

try flashing with seus
