Problem with Bluetooth Internet connection via PC

OK, so I had my K800i Configured to use my PC's internet connection, and it's been working fine until I got a new modem, and new hard drive. When I installed the new hardrive I copied the image of the old harddrive. the Widcomm BT software was the only thing that didn't work right after that.

It is such a pain to install widcomm on XP. XP's internal BT thing sucks! anyways I thought I had it working, but now when i try to connect my phone Windows gives me a warning saying An IP Adress conflict has been detected, and the phone doesn't connect to the internet. I've trying release/renew my IP with no success.

Also when i connect the BT internet widcomm no longer asks for confirmation it just connects. before it would always ask if you want to allow the connection. it's widcomm 5.1.0.1100

does anyone know how to correct the IP COnflict? Only other thing i can think is to reinstall widcomm. and that will suck.
