Guys...My P990's display screen went off and I want to somehow transfer my contacts to another phone....
It would take atleast 10 days for my phone to start working and I need my contacts ....
I have somehow taken backup of my contacts on my PC, but am not able to read from them... Please help guys, if I can somehow read the contacts on my PC....

Thats tough man...i cant think of much but heres a solution...
if your display is off,then if atleast the phone is working,then you transfer the contacts to another phone via bt....
If u need the blind pathway,i would be glad to help you.

FLIP CLOSE
(Unlocking..)
press * and right softkey
Going to contacts..
press center button and then press down ONCE and then center button..
Going to Mark..
Press Right Soft key.
press Down key EXACTLY 8 times...
now press right DIRECTION KEY ONCE
Now press Down key ONCE
press center button
Now press right soft key ONCE
Press Down key 2 times...
Press center button once
wait 5 sec
Now press the center key again
Wait 3 sec
Now press left soft key
wait 10 sec(bluetooth search going on)
Now press the center button(if you are VERY sure that theres no other device in your bluetooth record marked as always..like your laptop/friends mobile etc OR else,press down and select the 2nd/3rd... device)
Just tested it blindly myself...works.

Sorry for the delay,i was writing all that and then testing it...
Make sure that you do it fast or else,the auto phone lock will come up and you will never know that.

Buddy, just found out that my flip is also broken....
But I have somehow taken a backup of my contacts on my PC.
Can I open the contacts on my PC using some software....????
