here to confirm, successfully updated my K800i to FW & FS to R8BA024.
everything works great, not many major changes JV is 7.7 now...
so far no bugs...
photo fix and track id working great, photomate still doesnt download updates

nope with time stamp on its the same as previous but photo fix is for sure faster atleast 5 times lol less then 10 seconds to fix and 2 seconds to save
also java is a little smoother and faster, before when i plaid tennis and listened to player at the same time there would be lag spots, currently no problems at all, i even stress tested i ran ebuddy, music player, and played tennis and still no lag. ( before it would crash )
so far im pretty impressed even if they are tiny tiny little changes...

I will upload them later tonight, but my upload speed is 1.2kp/s so it will take me about 3 hours but i will get them up.
As far the game button bug goes, I do not have that. Also I found out that in photomate I cant download new things but it will update the ones I already have... some how I clicked to download all and it actually downloaded 2 of them before telling me connection was lost. So I dont know what the deal is with that.
As well as I bought a 5 day 50mb/day limit on topsony.com if anyone has yahoo messenger and wants to contact me I will change the passport and stuff and let them download some of the files ( tusted please only and I will decide if I trust or not ) but my internet connection is limit to upload ( using my k800i for internet ) (and satelite ) i dont have the bandwidth to download and upload. you can contact me on user name; VladN02

no apac version yet, as far as diference it looks the same as far as performance goes, but the k810 will have; photo fix, photo to blog post, and track id ( the good one
) so far the k810 firmware is worth over k800i IMO.
as far as downloads go check out www.topsony.com thats the only place so far, soon as I get a volunteer to upload files they will up here.

my APAC K810, is now on EU2;
so far so good, the placebo effect still lingers on me... thinking that the menu is alot zippier.... viewing thru big images is a breeze (coz ive got 5MP images on my phone).

So nw i hav cum 2 a conclusion to flash my SE K810i ie., firmware from R6BC002 CHINA_SM..... to the latest R8BA....version... I have downloaded K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52.
Now here comes my confusion....
1.What are the files needed to completely flash my phone completely to the new version(up and running)?
2.Does the downloaded file enough for tat?
3.I heard ppl sayin custompack do i need to download some china pack?
4.The XS++ application tat i use does not have my K810 model in the list so to flash cam driver n acoustics i choose K800, ll tat have an adverse effect on my phone?
M totally confused bout it.....Please help ppl.......Waiting for ur Reply...

our friend Max_wedge who has been there for almost every needs that i require, has these files uploaded safely on a server. i think its a page back.
the important thing here is to back up your files... and your GDFS, you can find the guide on the link i provided.

i am assuming you are looking for the CDA right? theres the last option at the bottom of the dropdown menu that sez Own Custom pack, choose that...
but before choosing that, make sure you have the right CDA extracted inside XS++ "own_custom" folder

i really dunno about updates in K800.. but in K810 theres no superficial updates, just JV 7.7 i guess... tho i find the menu alot zippier (or prolly an after effect of the update), other than that... no fireworks...

your CDA must match your FS in some ways.. so go find EU2 to match your FS.
it is also my first time to flash using XS++, coz i always sort to Wotan before.
i also have FULL APAC package before... but then when i found out Max had uploaded some helpful file.. i tried to maximize what i have in hand..
and that lead me to flashing my phone to EU2 from APAC. coz it has all the files i need...
MAIN = Generic World (or simply generic, not CHINA)
FS = EU2
CDA = EU2
and try to stick on the guidelines.. and you wont get wrong...
