How do you save a voice dialling number through your bluespoon? Is it possible in the 1st place? Once you say a voice dial from the bluespoon, that is originally saved using the t68i, the bluespoon does not recognize it too well. Does anyone have the same problem? What is the solution?

You should record the voicetags with the bluespoon conect it to your phone and record the tags again.

If you speak very clearly (whilst recording in a quiet environment) it will help. It's no worse when I use the BlueSpoon, handsfree or the phone to voice dial.

I recorded all my voice tags already but the same ones still work great with Bluespoon so I didn't have to redo them

This Bluespoon headset is awesome!

stlblues > As told earlier, voice-tags should always be recorded through the headset,..not the phone,..this goes for SE, Nokia, Jabra, BS or any other headset for that matter...the manuals state this too

Ok, I figured it out how to record through the bluespoon. The manual sucks coz it doesn't tell you exactly how to do so. My OTHER question now is how come the bluespoon device sometimes automatically shuts off by itself? Is it because it is out of range from the phone or what is the reason besides being low charged? Thanks JH67

The BlueSpoon does power down after a while if it cannot detect your phone. It saves on battery.

stlblues > Your welcome

The Bluespoon behaves like all other Bluetooth-devices/headset,..meaning that it will break connection, if taken too far away from its paired partner We have actually tweaked it a lot, so that it will take longer time before breaking connection, even if its moved to far away.
It will of course also shut off, if theres absolutely no more juice.

At no other point will it turn off by itself.

Most electronic/mobile devices, are always ON in some way,..even though you actually turn them off on the OFF-button.
Their processors are still running,..e.g. cell-phones, headsets.
You never ever get to turn them "really off".
Not unless you have the function like e.g. the Bluespoons RESET-mode.

The user, can actually turn it off for real, as he/she put it into the cradle without plugging it into the wall/turning it on first.
This will, as said in the manual, reset the BS,..and thats the whole idea of this specific function.

We have had some users, that have done this by accident, simply not thinking about it,..and they couldnt understand why their BS suddenly couldnt pair, find or anything.
All one has to do basically, is reverse the operation as told in the manual, and its back in ON-mode...and of course fully operational

Bluespoon does have a speciel feature,..we like to call it "hibernation mode/ghost mode",..but this you wont actually feel.
It just means that it will save battery, while not being directly used.
It wakes up, once a call is made/coming through.

Best regards

Jan

jh67> it seems like it is not necessary to record the voice tags through the headset. the once I recorded before I got the Bluespoon works just fine even when calling through the headset. however, they do need to be unique in pronuncation but that goes with all Bluetooth headsets. Thanks again Jan, for a great headset!

Your welcome,..I'm "of course" working on making things even better

yeahh, I have tried that way too, and it can work without recording through the headset itself,..but as You also say, the recording/pronounciation has got to be perfect.
So we usually say its "safer" to do it through the headset.

See Ya

I have a Bluespoon Panther for 2 weeks. In most cases it work perfectly well. However, if in environment like shopping mall or subway. Person on the other end find it really difficult to hear me.

Is it common for all BS ?

I suppose Bluespoon designed with background noise cancellation.

madness> I experience the same thing but I think it is because the mic is very sensitive on the Bluespoon. It has to be since it sits so far from the mouth! I try to avoid using my Bluespoon in very noisy surroundings.

I dont really think Bluespoon's more sensitive than other BT-headsets.
They are basically pretty sensitive all of the ones I've tested/tried.
There is of course a limit to what you can eliminate, when using "normal" microphones/speakers.

The new Bluespoon Digital (DSP) will work differently,..as you can remove background-noise,..and its special double-directional mic gives it a quite unique sound too
We used it on Comdex in a very noisy enviroment,..definately impressive.

How do you eliminate the echoeing from the receiving end of the bluespoon? This is the frequent complain of the people I talk to and this is getting to be a pain in the neck.
