The music edition is the best IMO.

I'll see which of the impending phones is my favourite first, and then decide.

The three guys on the promotional site for these watches are starring in an imaginary movie called Timemasters 3 (Presumably there was a Timemasters 1 & 2).

On it they 'just happen to' demonstrate the features on the new watches.

MBW - 100 weighed in at 187g.

This looks a bit smaller.

Oh I see, I get the idea now. I'm personally not bothered by the weight of the MBW-100 as I wear mine every day.

The Exec and classic look the nicest to me out of them. Wonder if they all will retail at £200.

It looks as though they wont be available until Q4 (Christmas time).

I think classic or executive definitely - I'm assuming it's the same watch technically, just the casing that differs?

I wish they'd have a separate battery for the watch bit, so that you could carry on using it even if you forget to charge the bluetooth component..

Posted by Xen0nflash
When will theese come with GPS?

Posted by batesie
casio have had a gps enabled watch on the market for ages, go get one of them ffs. its a bluetooth watch

Posted by mcrosser
Oh cool, I'll have a Classic one ... when the money comes

Posted by Supa_Fly
Definately Classic. As its got the leather strap its replaceable & still stylish yet sporty!

I'll also get the music edition as it seems the orange accents are readable at night.

I'll pick one up as soon as its released!

The Music Edition looks a little cheap for me - so the executive is my favourite

But the price is another matter...

not compatible with p990? why?

Posted by volvoman
I have the original MBW-100 and have to say it is a great watch, like the addition of the fast forward and play buttons, and the new face design. Prefer the look of the face on the music edition, but the leather strap on the classic edition. Once funds allow, I think I will just get all three, does anyone know if these will be limited edition like the MBW-100 or will they just be like all other accessories, and be available at all times. Have to say that they all look great, can't wait to see some live pictures of them. The videos are great of the watch, but the music edition one is by far the best, when he presses the play button, and that bloke leaning on the speeker gets a fright, it is hilarious. Great work SE keep it up.

I'm sure I read the MBW-100 was compatitble with the latest fw edition P990is.

Where does it say this watch is incompatible?

Posted by volvoman
There is a section on the MBW-150 page near the bottom, that tells you which version of software you need to have on the symbian phones, for them to work correctly. It also says about the W810 not being compatable with text message notifications.

Here is a copy and paste of what it says on the page.

( Only message notification is not supported on the MBW-150 when used with the W810. Please note that for full compatibility between the MBW-150 and your Symbian OS phone you must have software release MR-C or later. If you don't have this release, some functionality may be absent. You can find which SW release you have on your phone, or upgrade it to the new version, by using the Sony Ericsson Update Service here. )

Full list of compatable phones here as well, and the P990i is listed.

Why they don't re-edit the MBW-100?

I like it better. Anyhow if those ever show up down here in Mexico at a reasonable price point I'll snatch the Executive or maybe the classic.

Posted by carkitter
Executive for me too. Possibly the Classic?

Was MBW-100 limited edition? So it won't be coming down in price then?

Are any of these somewhat water resistant at all?

Posted by >500
@prom1

id say so, id guess at least 50m

Posted by Diffused
The Classic is my favourite.

What will be the cost? Any ideas?

not really, 30m means it will survive rain and casual water exposure, lika washing your hands with the watch on your wrist.

50m for taking a shower and 100m for taking a swim with it.

I'm still fearing these might be too big, but the Black Walkman version might be chunky in a nice G-Shock sort of fashion, although it looks nothing like it really.

Can someone tell what are differences between the MBW-150 and the MBW-100?

Slightly smaller and lighter and I think the new versions 'scroll' info across the display, like the track info etc.

Very good presentation that.

The watch face is bigger than I expected but that wouldn't put me off. Still like the metal strap...

Posted by Memzee
They are pretty big.. too big for me unfortunately.

Retail price will be £199.99.

Well its "Time to PUMP YOU UP!" lol

Just get a small barbell and pump up your forearms. I've already started going to the gym - girls will love the strong arms & grip; plus boss will not only SEE you representin business with the classic MBW-150 but also know you mean it with the strong handshake

Just ordered my MBW 100 BLACK from the sony sotre; the only one left in Canada! Can't wait to pair it with my p990...it was a tough decision - wait for the 150 to be released here or get the original design, limited edition.

i read somewhere the MBW-100 doesnt show track and artist names. does the 150 jump that hurdle?

Posted by Lexic
Has anybody heard any more regarding release date? I am assuming they wil be released in conjuction with the next batch of phones e.g K850i. ~Is this assumption correct I was wondering?
