Using K800i in USA - Esato archive

Going on holiday shortly with mates, and was wondering what is the cheapest way to keep in contact with each other while we are there.

Can you just buy an American sim and put it in the K800i? If so, does anyone know the cheapest one to use?

Or would it be cheaper just to keep using our O2 sims and call each other like that?

Any help appreciated.

hi i just moved from singapore to canada u can use the k800i in america it works fine. im using mine in canada and just got a sim. i think in america u need to go to cingular wireless for a simcard.
