I'm about to go to Japan on business. Will I be able to use my phone there?

Sadly no you will need a 3g phone or rent one in japan cheaper.

You could still use it as a camera or an alarm clock!

just treat your K750 as mp3 player

No you wouldn't be able to, because Japan uses a different network for their phones.

. . . or just simply wrap it around your NECK with a strap . . . just to show-off the Japs. I'm sure they will be at awe as to what fone you have in your neck

Unfortunately the K750 is a tri-band phone

(Europe and USA)

The W810 and K790 are quad-band phones

(Worldwide)

Hi!

I think you need a phone with UMTS to work in Japan.

I don't think there are GSM networks there.
