I'd rather have a scratched default case, rather than that awful looking one.

might i recommnd wear some latex/vynal first aid gloves for the mod? as they are rubbers there is no static involved and place the MB on paper

@scott ™
now that's what i call Pimp My Phone nice combination of black, white and blue keypad light

If you worried about static damage then get a static wrist band.

If your taking phones or computers to bits then for the low cost of static wrist band is well worth it.

Posted by slugworth
most static problems only come if you touch the componants its only a low level risk its just if you do short the phone out then you have no warrenty to fall onto

Just touching the PCB can fry any static sensitive components on the board.

thanx . lol mc

i hope i don't hurt my baby when i try this mod. if thats the case of stuffing up the motherboard than i will just swap the front and back cover only and leave the middle.

To be honest changing the middle aint that hard at all, in fact i found it quite easy, here is a very guide step by step guide which i followed and which will help you

http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=870

Good luck

hubby tried changing the fascia on his K750i and ruined the phone.

Posted by scottt
Well he must of seriously screwed up as it really is quite simple, if you follow that guide you should be fine

Posted by dcbastable
just make sure that you get a decent fascia pack. a lot og the ones on ebay are total bulls**t!!! some local service centres can get hold of good quality ones for not much money (just don't ask them to fit it as they will charge the earth for that).
