w800i unable to install drivers

Hi
I have win xp sp2, I download the w800 usb drivers from the SE website.
When I go to install the drivers I get the following message:

Sony Ericsson W800 Software was not installed successfully (1)

I tried copying the drivers from a friends machine, detecs the w800 but it fails 1/2 way thru with another error.

Can anyone help?

SOLUTION !!

No thanks to sonyericsson for their crap support. I managed to figure out a solution on my own.

1) Download the usb drivers from the web
2) Run the install till the error message appears. DO NOT PRESS OK. Leave the error message on the screen.
3) Press the start button, (windows), select run, type %temp% to open the temporary directory. In this directory there will be a folder ending in .tmp mine was called WZSE1.tmp copy this folder to your dekstop.
4) Click OK on the error message.
5) Plug in your phone, when the new hardware wizard appears select the Install from a list or specific location option. Point it to the tmp folder on your desktop, watch all your phones hardware options get installed onto your windows install.
