My first impression is that he doesn't really look the part. But that doesn't mean he can't play the part! I reserve judgement untill i've seen his first film, as I do with all new Bonds

I did really think Brosnan was worth one more movie before he retired from the role.
Having said that, my only real experience of him before bond was remington steele which I thought was a crummy series so I was very much surprised at his first Bond performance in Goldeneye so I guess time will tell if the new guy fits the bill or not

it was just unfortunate that the next movie is a remake of the first that flemming wrote and thus required a young bond

I dont get this... Until the new bond shows his stuff how can anyone say Brosnan was better or smarter....
I think 007 is just a gimmick and if the man is crap them Im sure he will only stick once.... Only time will tell....
Now the best so far was IMO mich smellypenny himself Sean Connery....
Now the Modern Bonds have had the benefit of better FX so really not an easy task....

i have acted before and its so hard! the people, the lights , especially, frowing by accident could distort your face makeup (yes, makeup, but its acting isnt it), making the wrong move, not standing up straight, thats all the basic shit, as well as knowing your lines, being realistic.
mate, will you stop critiscing all of you!
sean connery was and is the best. pierce was brilliant, but hes too old, so lets let this new guy strutt his stuff
