ReviewsBy iwantfatty on Jun 06 2008 Technically Great, but physically weak
Pros * Looks amazing not just the phone itself, the themes also look great very clean and bright
* Great screen, very responsive and intuitive UI - not that these things won’t be found on almost every other SE phone
* Camera also appears good for 2MP, although lacks even an LED light for low light photos
* As a phone it performs very well, amazing call quality, sms messaging is also very nice
Cons * Feels like you could snap it in one hand, the build quality is very questionable - not had broken keys yet, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they exploded at any given moment
* Battery life is not what I had hoped, I was hoping at least 7 days out of the 15 day quoted standby life, I get 3 days at most
Conclusion Although kept out of the limelight by many build quality issues, this phone is 'just' good enough to get away with it. This is helped by the continuingly falling price.

Pros - Aesthetics are emphasized - the phone itself looks good, and the themes and menus work to further the phones impression as an aesthetician's phone.
Cons - Not the best build quality. A bit wobbly slider mechanism and uneven keypad backlighting.
Conclusion This phone is for people who are realistic about their needs. It hasn't got 3G, WiFi, bazillion MP camera with autofocus and all the whiz, but then again - if you know you don't need these things it's not a problem. It's got the "standard" set of features for SE phones a step up on the price-range ladder. It's not a smart phone. It's not a low-end phone either.
It's right there in between - and it's beautiful.
The wobbly slider mechanism and uneven backlighting could be due to a bad production batch - or it could be because it's just a $180 phone. Either way, the phone has enough to offer that this becomes acceptable.
If you don't care about the latest technology, but would rather have a phone that looks good and doesn't set you back $400, this phone is definitely for you.
