Samsung i8510 Innov8

Pros
Camera: detail level is among the best even for 2011 standards. colours are pleasing and pictures have good contrast and sharpness. sometimes they tend to look a bit dark though. when in the open it can rival some point and shoot cameras. Macro is pretty good. only samsung galaxy s2 may post a threat to the innov8 quality. at night things are not as good but still remain passable. if compared to other phones most of the times has an edge over rivals. the flash is fine. the thing is white balance is not tuned properly for flash use so pics come out blueish. it has an easy fix but the you get oversaturated pics. only downside is led flashes are slow so is easy to get blurry pics. also if your subject moves slightly then the pic is blurred. would be perfect cameraphone if there was a xenon.
Video is not so great. the flash doesnt do much for videos either.
Sound quality is good. very clear and detailed. only thing with it is the lack of power. volume is quiet.the player is also ok.
Call quality adn reception are great. also the phone headset is quite loud so hearing the other side is never a problem, and the loudspeaker is also loud. real loud. quality through speakers is fine.
Phone quality and keypad is also great. has a solid feel and the feedback on the pad is excellent. the navigation pad on other hand is not that useful, except maybe for browsing.
Web surfing is nice. if using opera 10 the experiencce is even better.

Cons
Battery is not too good. 1-1,5 days. if you take pics a lot then keep charger in your pocket.
phone is a brick. heavy and large.
Too slow. if you are into quick responses then look elsewhere.

Conclusion
Is a good device. Camera still among the best and as a phone performs great. if it wasnt so slow and had a better battery and xenon would be perfect.

Verdict
4 (out of 5)
