One of the best imaging experience on a phonePros
Solid build quality, one-of a kind twisting camera mechanism, 3 mode camera (shooting, self portrait, clamshell closed) nice chrome edges, Amazing Display, very good and large keypad, Video recording @ mp4 format is great, camera post processing is the best in a nokia with moderate to low Noise Reduction, Colors came great as well. faster compared to N70, can still focus on pretty underlit places. videocalling and photography is head-turning when at populated places! Symbian OS's power is unquestionable.
Cons
It's BIG and HEAVY!, Battery life is weak because of the small capacity and high resolution screen. No vibration, Lacks FM radio, slow web browser, Poor LED Flash, moderate purple fringing on some bright objects. DPAD painting wears off fast, Lags when memory card slowly fills up, average java performance, wierd placement for the por port and charging port. Slow autofocus, pre-installed themes aren't worthy of filling it's gorgeous display.
Conclusion
One of the finest devices on nokia's portfolio, it's next to the awesomeness given by the N93i to me, at first sight you may think it's fragile, but upon holding it, you'll notice how good the build quality is, camera and video recording are among its finest weapon. but it looses to my W800 in focusing speed, color quality and details. but it trumphs the latter in video recording and coolness of operation. i find the experience in N90 much better than i had with its rival: the W800I have installed some applications on it like quickoffice, torch and opera mini 4.2. the amazing display is perfect in rendering pages and you can hardly call it great, but amazing! Display quality is incredible, you can hardly see any pixelation on the image as the pixel density is great. also perfect for viewing images and videos from the camera. You can experience great videocalling eperience because it's not like any other videocall phones, as you held it like tha way you held in its camera mode just turn the camera towards you and you're solved. the video clarity is great the display gives you plenty of details, because the main camera is used you wont worry about your image being dark nor grainy while youre calling. As a whole, it's great, head turning and very poweerful. aside from the lack of FM Radio and vibration, its feature packed for its generation. So that pretty sums it up, it wont easily fit on your pocket dues to its chunky size but the very good build quality and the hear turning looks it provides pretty compensates to it.
