Toshiba announced a new addition to its mobile portfolio, the TS605 handset,The handset has an impressive feature list for such a slim handset and is available in a range of stunning dual colour designs.

With either a black or silver front design, the TS605’s rear casing comes in a number of different colour options, from a fluorescent pink and green to a classic champagne or aubergine, to name just a few1. The TS605 is also perfectly proportioned to sit comfortably in the hand and is extremely light weighing only 79 g.

The large 176 x 220 pixels TFT display supports 262K colours and ensures that any photos or videos taken with the TS605 can be shown off in glorious colour. The 1.3 mega pixel camera takes high quality photos and the video capture and playback facility means that those special movie movements can also be shared with friends by either MMS, E-mail or Bluetooth.

To keep users entertained, the TS605 has a superb MP3 player and a built-in FM radio, so music lovers need never be out of touch with their favourite tunes or DJ. Whilst the TS605 comes with an 5,5MB of internal memory, to store your photos and music, this can be added to with an optional microSD card to provide up to an additional 1GB of memory. More sounds are also available through the 40-polyphonic ring tones installed on the TS605.

With the TS605’s support for Bluetooth, wireless connectivity to other compatible Bluetooth devices is made simple and easy. And as the TS605 is a tri-band handset users need never be out of touch. Seems to me this will be one of the best looking handsets of the year. Yet, it may feel uncomfortable to use as it is too thin.
