O2 Subscribers In The UK Will Be Able To Print And Share Their Pictures Online Anytime, Anywhere Through KODAK Mobile Service.

Eastman Kodak Company and O2, one of Europe’s leading mobile providers, announced an agreement to offer advanced online photo services to O2 customers through a jointly branded service. The O2 and KODAK Mobile Service will allow consumers to store, share, print and personalize pictures and videos directly from their mobile phone. From March 2005 customers will be able to upload, download, share, view and order Kodak prints from their mobile and have them delivered to any postal address within days. It has never been so easy to share picture with friends or relatives, whether they are by your side or in another part of the world.

Based on the infrastructure of KODAK Mobile Service, o2.kodakmobile.co.uk, will replace the existing online picture-storage service provided by O2. By using the existing picture service O2 customers will have their albums transferred for free to a photo album on the new service.

The new service will offer O2 customers unlimited online sharing of their pictures whether captured on their camera phone or digital camera. They will be able to upload photos in personal secured albums either by using MMS or email from their mobile, or through the web from their computer.

Customers will also have the opportunity to download their pictures as personalized wallpaper for their mobile and order prints of their favorite images directly from their mobile or their computer. Kodak will deliver the prints to anywhere in the world using the KODAKEASYSHARE GALLERY (formerly Ofoto) printing services.

The Kodak-O2 service will be available to all O2 UK customers with MMS &WAP enabled handsets starting next month. A welcome offer for the service will include 10 free prints for all new customers.*
