Adobe ends the life of Adobe Flash for mobile devices

Adobe Flash Player for mobile ends

Adobe today confirmed that they will halt future development of Flash for mobile browsers. Seems like former Apple CEO Steve Jobs got right at last. He was probably the most famous person against Flash on mobile devices. He even wrote an open letter about it.

Adobe will after the upcoming release of Flash Player 11.1 for Android and BlackBerry focus on HTML5 technologies which will allow new browsers to do the same thing. Current versions of Adobe Flash will still get bug fixes and security updates.

Flash player for desktop systems will still be developed and Flash Player 12 are under construction.
