LG announces Optimus Sol Android smartphone.
22 August 2011 by Olav Hellesø-Knutsen LG today announces the LG Optimus Sol 3.8 inch smartphone. The mid-range model Optimus Sol has a 3.8 inch display, 1 GHz processor and are only 9.8 mm thick. Just minutes after we wrote the article about some new images of the Optimus Sol, we received the official press release from LG. As we thought, the LG Optimus Sol E730 is a Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone with a 1GHz processor. The Sol name comes from the high 3.8 high clarity display of Ultra AMOLED type. We do not have the expected retail price, but LG says the Optimus Sol should stand out from its competitors as the most affordable 1 GHz Android smartphone with AMOLED display.
