Kyocera's "W21K" is a 1X WIN phone that features menu customization functions and the ability to choose clocks from well-known designers.

The main display is a 2.2", 240 x 320 dot (QVGA) TFT LCD capable of displaying 260,000 colors. The subdisplay is a 1.1", 104 x 67 dot screen. 3 patterns are featured as menu images, and apart from being able to enjoy moving backgrounds and icons, images can be easily downloaded and set for use. Incoming call alerts can display the phone number using a large font, and mail font sizes can be set to 12, 16, 20, and 24 dots.

Also featured are "Moving Clocks" designed by MIT's Media Laboratory professor, John Maeda. The clocks can each be set for the sub and main displays. Three preset patterns are included.

Using the included 1.31MP CMOS camera, still images up to 1280 x 960 dots can be recorded. Also available is the "Face Transformation Mode" that allows users to clown around with recorded face images by merging them with characters, and changing individual parts.

The size of this phone is 49 x 98 x 25mm (W x H x T), and it has a weight of 115g. This is the shortest body design of the three phones announced today. The continuous idle time is 200 hours, and the talk time 170 minutes. Advanced Wnn is used as a Japanese conversion system. Amazing Blue, Recent Silver, and Merry Pink colors will be available.
