Technical details:
HTC was expected to announce a couple of smartphones running Windows Phone Mango during IFA. They did not disappoint and today announced HTC Radar and HTC Titan.

HTC Titan and Radar smartphones announced. Running on Windows Phone Mango OS

Both phones are running on Microsoft's latest mobile operating system Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango). The HTC Titan is the powerhouse of the two with a huge 4.7 inch display and a 1.5 GHz processor. 4.7 inch is out of the ordinary, but the display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels are more sane.

HTC has obviously equipped both phones with decent cameras. On paper the camera specifications looks good. The Titan has a 8 megapixel camera with a 28 mm lens and a f/2.2 aperture while HTC Radar has a 5 megapixel resolution and a 28 mm lens also with a f/2.2 aperture. Both models have a front camera for video calls. The Titan has a 1.3 megapixel resolution and Radar has a VGA resolution. Even if the phone is locked, the camera will be started up by pressing the dedicated camera key.

We haven't found any information about expandable memory, but 640K* 16 GB should be enough for anyone. We haven't tested any of the devices yet, but the only differences we noticed are; 5 vs 8 MP camera, 8 vs 16 GB storage, 1520 vs 1600 mAh battery, single vs dual LED lights, 3 vs 5 type of sensors, 3.8 vs 4.7 inch display and of course the 1 GHz vs 1.5 GHz processor. Why do all manufactures put the most powerful processors in the largest devices. Why can't I have a normal 3.8 inch smartphone with a super fast CPU?

The Titan looks good. But why is HTC still using such low capacity batteries??
