Technical details:
Aimed at the growing number of 'no-nonsense' mobile phone users who are concerned about the effects of Global Warming. The deal offers customers the opportunity to include an 'off-set' of their personal carbon emissions or 'carbon footprint' for up to the entire length of the contract.

In effect, this would mean that a customer would be able to completely off-set their carbon impact on the environment for up to the duration of their mobile phone deal. Fones4Free.com's off-setting scheme is facilitated by Climate Care, who support a number of leading edge carbon reduction projects, such as forest restoration, renewable energy and improving energy efficiency.

Ordinarily this off-setting scheme would cost up to £135 for 18mths cover based on an average emission of 12tons of carbon for a UK citizen per year*. However, Fones4Free.com will include this within the contract rental and without any further cost to the customer.

The deal is currently only available with the launch of the new LG KG320 (a.k.a 'Noir') handset in the UK. It is a re-styling of the successful LG KG800 ( a.k.a 'Chocolate') and exclusive to Fones4Free.com. The mobile features a stylish leather cover, 1.3 mega-pixel camera with flash, a 128Mb flash memory for video, pictures, music or data storage. It is free on a range of contract deals and includes the 'Green' benefit of turning every customer into a climate neutral citizen.

“This offering has been on the cards for some months now and is in direct response to the Global Warming issues we are all facing. The mobile phone industry needs to take a lead in this area and it can make a positive difference. Though, it has been slow to react. This is a small step with a big impact and without compromising the deal or handset quality we have come to expect".Said, Amian Moaven, Director of www.Fones4Free.com/kg320

I'd like to see some good sites on there. It's very similar-looking to my K800i, which has a great browser.

Yesterday, I was looking at http://on2mobi.com/wap on my browser, and all their free pictures and other stuff looked wonderful on there.

Why are LG now copying Sony Ericsson? Have they had enough of trying to look like N*kia phones?
