It is shocking how the BBC are allowed to make these deals under the disguise as trials. A trial is a closed system of discreet users not your average everyday customer. If it a trial to test the 3g system for transport of its content ALL network providers should have been engaged. I can only get 3g on T-Mobile and yet I also pay my licence fee. Why am I not offered the opportunity to pay a little more to view this content which could easily have been transported via their mobile site and not provider specific portals. I will definitely be completing the public forum document next time it is distributed. I believe in the BBC but while they make these fragmented business decisions that the entire nation are not able to take part in - they are heading towards reducing consumer confidence and will lose the licence fee.

this isn't gonna be free by the way ;) it's just giving orange/vodafone/3 the chance to get people to pay out a bomb for bbc 1+3 alongside news24! probs gonna make a bomb for the networks, but some money will be made for the bbc out of this...hopefully.

the bbc should not sign exclusive deals to ANY provider. they are publicly accountable, and ALL content should be free to everyone. I say free but we do pay our licence for the privalige. Anyway Dr who is crap! so i'm not really all that bothered.
