Esato reporting from CeBIT 2007 > Nokia N800

Page: 1, 2, 3  Next

The Nokia N800 is a dedicated surfing device. It has WLAN, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, but no other network connections like GSM, GPRS, EDGE or UMTS. The main applications installed are a browser (Opera), e-mail, chat and a media-player. The media player can play 3GP, AVI, H.263, MPEG-1, MPEG-4 and RV (Real Video) video formats which should be enough formats for most of us. A tiny, turnable camera can be pulled out from the left hand side of the device ideal for use as a web cam or the chat application. The Opera browser will let you view the same web pages on this device as you can on a PC. N800 has a full screen virtual  finger keyboard and handwriting recognition. The display resolution is 800 x 480 pixels.

N800 should be available in 1st quarter this year.

I think Nokia has got it all to make it comfortable for anyone, I mean, check out this beauty! Wished I had this and I am a made man. I wanna say that nokia has gone wow! in the world of production and they would continue to excel because i know they have been, they would be and they would continue to be the best in mobiles or any of their making. As I would be a fan of a football club, I am also a fan of Nokia and I would always be. Everybody just scoop out of your homes and run to your mobile shops for LADY CHARMING is around.

1. It is NOT a phone. Nokia does not market it as such.
2. It runs Linux.
3. Nokia did not steal this idea from Siemens. Go look up the N770

Kill this thread mods.
