BenQ-Siemens new Smartphone. The P51
1 2 3 4 Next ->
The P51 is the first Smartphone from BenQ-Siemens since BenQ Mobile bought Siemens Mobile back in October 2005. All phone models produced in 2006 will wear the BenQ-Siemens logo while older produced models still are using the old brands name Siemens Mobile and BenQ Mobile.

The P51 is running Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and has WLAN, touch screen, GPS, a 240x320 pixels display and a full query keyboard located below the display. I tried is display for a short moment, and must say that I found the small keyboard a little cumbersome to use. I should know how to use a QWERTY keyboard, but had to look for the letters sharing the same keys as the number keys. The number keys was marked clearly and the letters too blurry. The handful of P51 units available at the stand was all prototypes and according to the Siemens representative, this might changed when the final product is ready to ship.
