The Sony Ericsson W810 is a Quad-band EDGE phone (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), and enables users to transfer their legacy CD collection or access operator music download services, while staying connected to friends, family and business colleagues anywhere in the world. The Sony Ericsson W810 offers the latest in mobile multi-media functionality by taking advantage of high speed data downloads; listen to hours of music, capture and send high-resolution mega pixel images, access the Internet and stay connected through instant messaging or email. The latest Walkman phone comes with a 512MB removable Memory Stick, which can be upgraded to 2GB currently available in retail outlets, allowing consumers to store a wealth of music tracks, photos, video and other multimedia files on the phone. Extending the highly acclaimed Sony Ericsson Walkman phone line-up, the stylish black with orange trim W810 advances the mobile music experience by seamlessly blending together entertainment and advanced mobile phone technology to offer a truly credible digital music experience supporting industry standard MP3 and AAC music file formats. Great phone, just upgraded from a W800i, the only thing I miss is the shutter on the camera to stop dust getting on the lens.

Yes very pleased with my free upgrade, although the first W810i delivered wouldn't detect network so had to get replacement. PROS: Very nice graphics, great camera, Walkman button and features excellent and sounds very good. FM Radio too (uses headphones as the aerial)! Light sensor so it knows when to light up the keypad. Dedicated shortcuts button. CONS: Just having to get used to a few things different to my previous Nokia, such as Space key when texting, and Menu. But soon get used to it.

great phone upgraded from the K750i and really like the walkman feature and deisgn. However the shutter on the K750i was a nice touch to protect the len of a 2MP camera.
Better reception and clarity due to the QUADband and EDGE works anywhere and is FAST!!! - K750i had many troubles connecting and was very slow.
Headphones are a better design and I love the fact that I can use my BOSE noise cancelling headphones on the airplane due to the adapter on the headpiece.
Overall 9.5!!! -- Loved the K750i but the W810 is superior for US

currently using w550i but planning to swap it to w810i... the only thing that i'm regretting if ever i upgraded to w810 is that i'll lose the cool stereo speakers im used to with w550i

i would really like to have dutch on my phone as awriting language. so can someone help me???? it's very comfortable to sms with dutch predictive text, is there some way i can downlaod the software for my phone (w810) wich contains ducth as a writing language in it???
