Nokia Top of the Green List28 June 2007 by axxxr
Greenpeace's Electronics Guide ranks leading mobile and PC manufacturers on their global policies and practice on eliminating harmful chemicals and on taking responsibility for their products once they are discarded by consumers. In this fourth issue of the Guide, Nokia regained the lead, with Dell and Lenovo tying for second place, followed by Sony-Ericsson and Samsung. Apple made the biggest jump from last to the10th place while Sony is the biggest loser in the race, languishing at the bottom of the ranking along with LG, both penalized for ‘double standards’ on their waste policies.
