remember the Z600 with the joypad? well, should not have PS2 controller, it should have a joypad like those offered on Z600 few years back. then can be famous.
cyber-shot, walkman, bravia, handycam, playstation...
all those sony stuffs..

as for the psp phone...has obviously been in the works for a while! would be silly for sony ericsson not to release a psp-style phone if they had the chance! n-gage was always crap...no argument needed!

All I've heard about this is that the playstation brand is going to be incorporated into SE phones in the same way that Walkman and Cybershot have been. I'm imagining it being a new set of Mobile Gaming standards, hopefully with the ability to upgrade older java games to a larger screen resolution. Plus the amount of colours available on the screens will go up to keep in line with, or ahead of recent nokias. A cybershot, walkman AND playstation branded pocket sized symbian model would be the dream phone.

maybe SE will incorporate symbian 9.5 OS UIQ in it with the PSP game emulator software pre-installed to that device, it will feature every possible multimedia functions(hope there is a megapixel camera to allow games like the mosquitos/alienV in S60 to use the camera) and to allow Java 3D games the phone should have JP-8 softwares inbuilt. if ever SE would realize and put it in work then this could be better than any other already boring SEs at present.

Most of the branded phones so far have started out with "dumb" versions before moving onto the UIQ operating system. The walkman software has only recently been incorporated into a smartphone. I don't think the cybershot software has yet. So this is likely to come out as a basic phone to start with, and move onto a smartphone when they've tinkered with the software and seen the reception it gets.
Having said that, if anything can get the huddled masses away from their Nokia 3210s *shudder* then it'd be playstation branding. It'd be interesting to see the reception this got if it was smartphone only. Perhaps on the p700 that's just been announced?
