How should you prepare your image before uploading it to Esato?
Below is an example of a image uploaded by a user. Depending on the tool you are using for the compress procedure, you will be able to reduce the image size by several bytes more than you thought was possible. In the illustrations below, the image to the left is the original and the image on the right is what it looks like with the new optimized settings. Even if the original image size was below 3000 bytes, it was too large for the T68!

	The original file size for this uploaded image was 2929 bytes. The illustration to the left shows that the uploaded image was saved with 256 colours in the colour palett.
	We have now reduced the color palette to 58 colours. The image does not hold more colours, so it's no point to set aside more than 58 colours in the colour palette. By reducing the number of colours in the palette, we have managed to saved 653 bytes. That is a 12% size reduction.
	In addition to reducing the image palette we also use the "lossy" function on it. You can hardly notice any difference on the image, but it saves us a lot of bytes.
