Japanese text-input for computers |

I would like to have a text-input that allows my computer to show Japanese "letters".
It's so irritating to visit Sony Ericsson's japanese site and only get a bunch of squeers and questionmarks.
Plus I'm going to learn Japanese in school this autumn and would like to be able to read japanese internet-sites and write in japanese, for practise.
I'm using a laptop with Windows XP Home Edition.
Many thanks!

Just install support for Asian languanges.
Check XP's control panel, should be there somewhere...

Thanks!
I've installed it now. If I had known that it was that easy I would have done it a long time ago.

I've been learning japanese for the last 2 months now and it's going great.
I'd like to thank you all who helped me to install japanese textsupport one more time
But now I have a problem:
I can't get it to work so that I can write hiragana. I can only read it but I would like to know how to write it in MSN and Works etc.
Please help me.

You need to have a look in 'regional settings' in your control panel. You should be able to selct it as your input language there. While you're there, you can select to 'show the language bar' which allows you to quickly switch between your installed languages.
Quite how well Japanese works on a QWERTY keyboard though, I don't know!
