"Share your computer's internet access to the phone via bluetooth or USB"

...but...

"Support

There is NO support. And NO WARRANTY. You use the software and any instructions you found here or posted by me at forums"

Why using it? When u set a serial conection via bluetooth u can use the pc internet without any other app.

I created serial cable connection from my pc to my p910 and connected to internet that way... But as I sometimes went out of signal and it was pretty annoying walking back to my pc and making a new connection... so then I heard about gnubox and I followed the introductions, so then I could make connection from my phone... Pretty handy
But just follow the introductions mate and I think you are in no danger, unless you do something terrible wrong... Good luck
P800 - P910i - P1i - and some non-P phones...

@rrojas

As gardar alluded to, the advantage of gnubox is that you can initiate the connection from the phone, instead of the PC like you do with a normal BT serial connection.

i think the range also increases when you use gnubox as when i was connecting via bluetooth without it i could'nt even go in the next room without it disconnecting, but now i can go anywhere in my house, its great!

Hey, that looks brilliant! - I will try it when I get my P905 back

Does having a BT dongle with a greater range help if the P900 BT range is only 10m anyway???

Thanks

Mick
