Regarding ur post in page 1, what u say is true.... but you forget that the Quran is written long long way long ago b4 what u stated... and yet it tells us about the future! Anyways here are more evidence of the Quran where you can relate to... the Quran states the signs of Judgement Day -
Man will be able to stay higher above grounds = Buildings, Space Ships, and everytime they anounce the new tallest building in the world, really scares me!
More female then males - well u can see that dont you!
More Homosexuals/Gays/Lesbians - it is starting to be a reality
Climate change - this will be around 86% towards Dooms day.. wont see that soon... but the tsunami really scares me!
Islam will be the least of religion - still No.2 or 3 in the world.. thank god!
A war between a religion and Islam - well atleast they use the words terrorist..
Sun will rise from the West - then u know its the end!

surely it s down to interpretation, your first quote re man standing higher. i may say was a prediction of the building of a ladder or some scaffolding.
as for the other things they again come down to interpretation, one thing is for sure the world as each individual on here knows it will end its will be your own death. since thats one of the few certainties in life that we die

well its surely not a prediction.. prediction tells one it might happened, but still a possibility that it may not happen. the Quran states facts.. it will happen.. just that u wont know if u live long enough to see it.

Vlam is right. I mean, how can the world End? Dinosaurs died out, it was the end of their world. If humans die out then other life will carry on. The planet will still be here. Why do we presume there can be no life on Earth without Humans? If there is a great catastrophy, either Natural or Man made then so be it. Life will go on in some form or another. I just hope it doesn't end before the S800i is released :-D

Oh dear.... 
If the world does end, it'll be our own stupid fault, either by polluting it or pissing each other off so much we'll have World War 3... the trilogy would be complete! 
We have our destiny and future in our own hands, and only we can change it and avoid any nasty ends. A good way of starting would be to get rid of Bush, he's dangerous!

Until you write a book predicting the world will end in a date we all know is horribly false, (like 2 years from now, on a thursday) it's not really a real serious prediction ;D

The end of the world has been predicted many times and there have been many times throughout history when it seemed as if the world truely was ending. Who now remembers the fear experienced before the dawn of the second millenium A.D.? Who remembers all the past predictions that the world was ending?

It is the single greatest disaster in all of humna history and the people at the time quite understandably thought that the wolrd really was ending. A third of the population of Europe is estimated to have died and no one could do anything to stop it. Yet the world and humanity continued on ...
People see awful things happening in the world and they build connections betwen them. We see warfare and at the same time we see earthquakes, tornados, floods, etc, but these have always happened. At no time in human history have they not happened. There has always been war and there have always been natural disasters.
Fear is the most primitive of emotions and one of the most powerful. We fear what we do not understand what we are not able to control. The world is just as likely to end now as it was ten thousand years ago. There are forces outside of our control, which can wipe us out, there is nothing we can do about that. If we live in fear of such things then we are not truely living. Instead of worrying about that, which is beyond our ability to control we would be better off trying to live our lives as best we can.
