a gold number is not only a lot of same number..

Defined by Norways bigges operator gold nr can also be like this

41443322; 99887766, 91919191..

As long as it has the same pairs all the way or same nr and more then 4 in a roof its a gold nr

well said mate, everytime i come in this section all i see if Gold som card, how can every free sim which is shoved in your letter box be gold??? i think esato should put a ban on selling 02 sims as everyone can get them free. if you number isnt something like this: 07876543210 or 07777777777 etc then it isnt gold.

I have some SIMs with '7' in them. Seven in lucky in some cultures. Do I have gold numbers? ;-)

I totaly agree, some of these so-called 'gold' numbers on here are far from it!

Just one thing though, if 07849493635 is a silver number then an awful lot of people have silver numbers! I'd call that a bog standard number myself.

I agree i think that the definition of gold is if you type it out, with no spaces or dashes etc...etc... it still looks easy or good, people are putting spaces to make it look good, which is really tappin at my head!!

Quit the silver numbers theres no such thing, gold numbers on sale, silver numbers should be advertised as vodafone sim o2 genie sim virgin sim orange sim t-mobile sim tesco sim or any other crappy sim and just specify the number.

Let's face it, you ain't exactly gonna hit the jackpot by having 100 at the end of your number!!

Ridahz, well said!!
