Personalize with background photos and news and weather information from MSN or any RSS feeds from websites you choose.

Search the Web and click news headlines directly from the Screen Saver.

Stay connected with MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, and MSN Spaces.

Track how many unread Hotmail messages and current Messenger conversations you have, and display blogs and photos from your friends’ MSN Spaces.

Important: The MSN Screen Saver (Beta) requires installation of the MSN Search Toolbar with Windows Desktop Search on the same computer.

i would have used it if it didn't force me to install the toolbar.
I'm going to try and see if I can change the toolbar to search google.

not good news.
I decided what the hey. Installed their crap.
It crashed EVERY single program and service.
Forced me to restart.
Forced a disk check.

Deleted ALL of my .nfo files so I had to favourites, or settings saved.

One quick system restore later and it's all fine.

Here is what I think the problem is.

I switch off indexing on the drive to make the pc faster since I hardly search.

So I think when the MSN Deskbar tried to index using what should have been indexed, it went nuts.
