can anybody confirm the Mobile Office pathetic service in mumbai..?

its been almost 10 days since i could use it properly.. cc says its network congestion & the same old 'restart the phone', 'wait 4 hrs' crap..

cant connect at all.. & if it does, the connection is 'dead' (no sending or receiving data)

i'm using nokia 6680..
has anyone else faced similar problems?

i'm using airtl prepaid conn.. MO costing Rs.7/day, Mumbai region..

They were upgrading the system that time I was also facing that problems in Kolkata. Its fine now the Mo is rocking now with my 6630. Its just 249/- per month unlimited but now the time is up the Airtel decided to stop unlimited plan and start to charge for data as the are charging so in Postpaid in Kolkata and some other states too so anytime they will apply on us too. I will leave Airtel if they will stop this MO plan.

what ever the issues airtel is the company that is providing cheapest gprs service for both prepaid and post paid users.....
bsnl repaid user has to pay 20 rs for every 1mb of data transfer

with airtel i used to do around 800-1000mb of data every month and just 275 rs7

I agree...airtel MO @ Rs 7/day prepaid has been thoroughly frastating, last few days...but I still get 25kB/sec every day between 4 & 9 am...n hardly tkB/sec the rest of the day through my K-JAM.
They r definately up2 something but its not 3G as the serveyed & didn't find many who'd be ready 2 pay that much 4 it. And I hope the don't start charging / MB, as they'll loose a lot'a customers, including 2 of my MO account...I download abt a GB & a half every day through my bridged dailup connections.

Problems are still persisting in the mobile office MO connection. . . . Its been 2 months like this. . . . What the hell is airtel doing . . . . . Hatching eggs or what . . . .In my pc its ok sometimes but I am getting wierd messages in my opera mobile browser. . . Like "this request cannot be granted through wap gateway" & "connection to the server closed" & now a days frequent "service temporarily unavailable and service connection time out" etc etc . . . . Errors occur. . . And when i called the damned cc they bring out their regular excuse "network is upgrading". . . . I just dont understand what on the world are they upgrading in their F****D up network. . . . . . . About a month ago my mobile p2p application used to work without any problems now its not even connecting to its peers . . . These bloody a$$holes blocked port 6336. . . . Am i paying 250p.m for this shit?? What they should have really done is stop offering gprs connection temporarily until their upgrading process is over rather than looting ppl by giving partial net connection which does not work half of the time. . .

Strange.....I've never had a problem with my network/gprs speeds except on 2 occasions ( July 26th 2005- Mumbai floods & Sep 7th 2006...mumbai blasts ) due to network clogging.... Other than that I've been getting consistent download speeds of 22-25 KBps whenever I use it....
