you can get the code by calling to Orange and it is not free. Sadly most things you want are not free.

Having looked for some time, i have seen discussions of needing a cable? Is this true. Sorry. Only just registered! |

Did you need a firmware file to unlock using semctool or will the program do it on its own? |

what i did was tell the programme to read all codes and it gave the lock and unlock codes for network, network subset, corporate etc...
and because the orange branding i (had to) remove the sim card booted up the phone and pressed <**< bringing up a menu, i went to the only one which was locked (network) and entered the unlock code, and now my phone works with my o2 sim cards.
pity its still orange branded though...
thanks has to go to gbrooks3 for making me aware of the program.
forgot to say that the restrictions of the orange sim card have gone when using the o2 sims (the <**< menu block)

there was a knack to it with my phone though, i had to press the do selected jobs button as the phone was powering off for it to work.

Hi there... i just bought a k700i and i'm really happy with it but i've got a question: as my mobile is a vodafone-live phone, i've got this damn ugly menu, typical for vodafone is there any way to change this menu (it is mostly grey and red *urgh*) into the original SE k700i menu?
please, i hope for a beautiful menu |
