In other words all thous 'upgrades' aren't any upgrades after all ! Are more like 'sitegrades' or even downgrades. As long as they stop the phone from crashing . . .

I'd have to disagree.
Im still on R1J, and my pictures (especially the sky) are much less overexposed like they were on R1A.

Even if the phone is much more unstable ? i dont think i could put up with the phone freezing up every so often anymore.

well according to exif info one is taken with R1A and filesize of that is 568kb, the other one is taken with R1L and filesize of that is only 428kb. Propably indicating that the finemode is different between the firmwares.
The odd thing though, is that exif info says both pictures were taken on 02-05-2005 14:04  |
