I was using http://www.118888.co.uk to have my friends overseas send me free SMS but it has now been discontinued. i signed up to excite.co.uk who promises 3 free SMS daily, sent off 3 to my phone and received none.Anyone knows of a good free or cheap working website I can use?

Becareful of that sms.ac site when you sign up with your mobile. Would use a payg simcard. Make sure you read the options, and not opt to recieve any txt from them. A friend of mine signed up, not reading the stuff on the pages, and was billed for about 50p a txt recieved. 50p not alot? Not when you get loads of them, cost him extra £35 pounds a month for these SH1T txt.
