I've been using one for a week or so and it does improve on the built in light but its a true flash and does not stay on like the old clip on MFP-10 for earlier models did, or like the built in ones do.

For this reason it is only usable for still photography and does not work in video mode

In the still settings it adds an icon for the flash but the only options are off or automatic. so there is no choice to use the flash if you want to but the phone doesn't think its neccessary

there are no buttons on the flash and it works when you push the camera button on the phone

the only indicator on the flash is the charging light which blinks green when charging and is steady green when charged

nice little accessory actually but I need to test it more before recommending it

Here are some photos from my very dark attic .
The first photo is with flash and second is with night mode and led. Although the Led and night mode gives very good lightning the flash is far superior in picture quality. Will take some more pics later tonight .

@ Paulino2
Don't you mean the first pic was led and night mode cuz it looks worse quality than the second although there seems to be more light in it? Unless you need night mode as well to stop the grain?

Well the first of every pair is with flash and I think the pics with flash is much clearer and has less noise than with Led and night mode. The color is also better and much more accurate and not as bluish as with led there is also less possibility to blur as you dont use night mode. But as always its up to the observer .

@Paulino2

Sorry was only refering to the first to photos in the group hadn't looked at the others but your right the quality is better but I think i'll stick with the built in light which is adequate enough - just wish I wasn't on continously!

I just tried my new flash but I´m a bit disappointed. The flash doesn´t go off (flash) that often I want it to go off. It must be really dark to get the flash working. I hope SE wil fix this in next firmware release. At least add an option where I can force the flash to go off. Now the only tow options are Off or Automatic. Are there more people around here having the same problem/thoughts?

Another thing is that in the manual it is mentioned something about redeye reduction depending on modell of phone being used. The K750i is supposed to be their camera phone and I took for granted that this function should be in my K750i but it wasn't or am I wrong?
