Here’s a video of the “Sony Revolution.” Taken from what appears to be the inside of of Sony Computer Science Laboratories, it shows a crazy yet intriguing table where transparent tiles are placed depending on content that wants to be interacted with. Want weather? Slap down the weather tile. Sports? Sports tile. And the tiles can interact with one another,too.It just has to be seen to be believed...Bloody amazing is what i would call it!

Philips came up with a similar concept a number of years back. It was in T3 if I recall. Clever idea but your buggered if you lose a tile unless you could configure them to be something else. |

That's really fascinating technology, but I'm not entirely sure how it would be useful or convenient... |
