The K750i has now been advertised in my country for the last days (he did come last week to my country I think)
But in the adverties they say it is possible to get Memory stick duos pro 4gb.. as a P910i user I thougt it was only possible to get upto 2gb msduo pro cards, but it can allways be that I am missing something...
But aint I right, there is no 4gb thing for the K750i...?

new memory sticks are always announced on http://www.memorystick.com and there is nothing there and in fact it was only February 19th that sandisk announced the 2gb PRO duo and that has only been available for a month or so
the latest I heard was that 4gb PRO duo would be available by year end but I haven't been keeping up with this like I used to

the original specifecations of MSD said it can handel upto 4GB of data... but for this moment.. they just reached the 2GB limit....
the same for PC RAM... when they first design a memory ( like DDR SDRAM ) they said it can support up to 400MHz ( 200MHz DDR ) but on it's first days they just start with 200MHz ( 100MHz DDR )...
just to note they already reached an unoffical speed of 600MHz ( 300MHz DDR ) |

The specs provide for a theoretical maximum capacity of 32GB though I suspect Sony and others will move to some other technology before that is reached

I wonder what the price will be. It may turn out to be expensive. One has to add that to the price of a W800 if one wants to compare with e.g. a 4 gb iPod mini. |

Sony Style has had the 2gb duo pro in for about 2 months, at £600.00 though!.
Have seen them on ebay for just over £200.00 from USA.

Thats expensive indeed ! ! ! A 4GB will cost in excess of 1000pound ! + the price of the phone. A Nokia N91 will cost half as much + is a S60 smart phone.A wise buy for the open minded ;-)

I was in our local sony shop at the weekend and they had the 2gb duo pro for £400! Saying that they had the 1gb for £140 and the 512 for about £80-90.
I am still waiting on Expansys to update their 1gb and 512 stock status, I think the 512 will be my purchase, and 1gb a bit later when prices fall a bit. |

I got a 512mb card for £50 not bad if you ask me. Why on earth would you want a 4gb card? |
